Board of Directors Meeting Minutes
July 19, 2016
Grace Lutheran Church

Call to Order: 7:06pm

Quorum: In attendance were Bertha Perrin, Dave Cheney, Bill Hillberg, Bob Trask and Linda Stasik. Frank Bradley of APM was also present. (4 homeowners were also present.)

Comments from the floor: None

Approval of Meeting Minutes: Motion by Dave Cheney, seconded by Bill Hillberg to approve the minutes of the June 21, 2016 board meeting as corrected. All in favor. Dave will post corrected minutes on the web-site. 

Treasurer’s Report: Bill Hillberg presented the Treasurer’s Report. Motion by Linda Stasik, seconded by Bertha Perrin to accept the report as presented. All in favor.

2015 Reviewed Financial Statement: Bill received three bids to review our records. Motion by Dave Cheney, seconded by Bertha Perrin to get three references each from Hinds and three from McDonough. 4 approved, 1 opposed, motion passed.

Old Business:

  • Chicken issue: Our lawyers sent a clarification letter to the board. APM will contact the homeowner.
Action Items Update:
  • Lake Restoration: Lake A shore restoration started today. Hope to have all lakes done by December.
  • Tree Trimming: Received two bids, need to get one more. Frank will talk with homeowner regarding one tree that needs to be trimmed. Trees on the berm at the end on Sierra and trees blocking light from light poles need to be trimmed/lifted. Motion by Bob Trask to contact Greenleaf Landscape and Irrigation to take care of the trees for $850. Motion withdrawn. Motion by Dave Cheney, seconded by Bob Trask to use Greenleaf Landscape and Irrigation per their service agreement dated 7/7/16 to trim/lift 32 oak trees and trees blocking the light from light poles and charge no more than $3000.00. 4 approved, 1 opposed, motion passed. Frank with meet with Greenleaf to verify the actual services provided.
  • Video Surveillance: Dave reviewed three bids on a video surveillance packages. He will get 3 references each from Security Center Networks and Innovative Surveillance for the next meeting. He also will try to arrange to have representatives from each company attend the next board meeting.
New Business:
  • Gates: APM was informed by the gate service contractor that our gate control system was possibly damaged by a lightning strike. They are trying to pinpoint the problem so it can be repaired.
  • Next Meeting: August 16, 2016 at the Grace Lutheran Church at 7:00.
Adjournment: Motion by Bertha Perrin, seconded by Bob Trask to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 8:43.
